Thanks Be Unto God

Good morning! Today is beautiful. The sun has finally come out. Today I made another Easter card. This one will be for my grandma. I started off with some webster pages DP. I kinda feel like I cheated with this DP. It so beautiful. It does all the work for you. You don't need to add many layers with this DP. I wrapped some Michaels red ribbon around the card and then added Hero arts Ivory lace over top. I tied the bow and added a beautiful button I got a Joann's. My stamps are from  the GKD Christ is Risen stamp set illustrated by Nina Brackett.  I stamped the cross on Ivory CS and cut it out and popped it up with foam dots. I stamped the sentiment right on the DP and added Bling on the banner at the top.  This card didnt take long to make but i love the way the way it turned out. I'm entering this card in a few challenges:

Easter Bunnies

Good morning! Im so happy its saturday and not a work day, even though its pouring down rain here and its expected to do it all day long. But thats Ok, I have many easter cards I need to make.  For todays card I started off with some BoBunny DP from the Vicki B collection. I used my large hero arts BG stamp to make the dotted DP on top, and I used an EK success border punch. The cardstock was all Gina K designs Pure Luxury Card Stock. You really can't beat her cardstock. It's wonderful. I also used GKD stamps on this card. It is the Basket Blessings set illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. Its the first time I've used this set and I just love it. I used my stampin up Oval and Scalloped Oval punches and my labels one nesties. I stamped the image and colored with copic markes. I cut out the eggs and colored them and used molasses pearlized smooch on the dots. I used GKD chocolate ribbon and Blossom twine from the Twinery. I am going to enter this card in a few challenges today:

Happy Easter

Good evening! Today I have been working on my Easter cards. I still have many more that I need to do in the next ten days and I have two birthday cards I need to get done also. I guess I will be in my room getting some stamping done this weekend. Todays card features a stamped image from crafty smart. I colored her with copic markers and added sakura glitter pen to her hat to give her a little sparkle. My Dp is from Bo Bunny Vicki B collection. I used a Martha Stewart border punch along the bottom. The Ivory doily was made by little yellow bicycle. I cut the pink doily with the doily details die from Papertrey Ink. I stamped and die cut the Ticket and added the sentiment from Inkadinkado. I finished it off with some pink sorbet twine from the Twinery and added a few bling.  Today I am playing along with a few challenges:

Happy Birthday Cupcake

Todays card was made with a hampton art cling stamp set that I picked up at Michaels last weekend. I just fell in love with that banner. I stamped my images in Aegean Blue Versa Magic chalk ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I cut out the circles with my nestabilities big scalloped circles. I used basic grey Hopscotch DP. I threaded some twine through all the buttons and glued them to the banner and the ribbon.I added some sakura glitter pen to the cupcake holder. Im not sure you can see it in the picture but I love it IRL. I made this card for the Just Us Girls Sketch Challenge . Thanks for visiting!!

Jasmyne's Birthday

I made this card for niece Jasmyne. She's a teenager and her birthday is coming up in early april and I knew she would think this pure innocence image is adorable. This is my first ever digital stamp and I just loved it. It was so easy. I ordered it from the Illustrator Heather Ellis. She has the cutest images and they are a great bargain. I used a cuttlebug folder for my embossed layer and my DP is from the cosmo cricket pixie-liscious paper pad. I have used this little book of paper so many times. It's one of my favorites. I used all stampin up cardstock except for the yellow layer. It is gina k designs PL cardstock in lemondrop. I colored my image with copic markers. I won't list all the colors I used, but I will tell you that the skin colors were E11 and E13. The punch was a new EK success chain punch I bought this weekend. I added the flowers and the button and some embroidery string tied in a bow. I really wanted to use bakers twine but I just ordered it and it hasnt arrived yet. I made this card based on the two following challenges:

Mother's day

Today I made a card for my mom. She's very old fashioned and not into computers so I don't think she'll look at this blog. I used a new stamp set I just got from stampin up called Blessed Mother. Its a small set with only four stamps but I just love it. I used Gina K designs Pure Luxury Card Stock in black onyx.  I used Bo bunny's crush collection DP. I know that it supposed to be valentine's paper but it just worked perfectly on my mothers day card. Don't you think? I used Spellbinders nestabilities lacey circles for the black circle die-cut. I used offray sheer ribbon and used my bow-easy to make the bow. The flower is a button I picked shopping along the way somewhere, probably joann's. I finished it off with some berry red pearl bling.  I'm going to enter this card in a few challenges

Easter Wishes

Today was such a beautiful day. It was 60 degrees and sunny. I decided to make an Easter card. I used all Stampin up supplies on this card. I made a 4.25 x 5.5 card. I put down the green layer of patterned paper and then cut the pink piece the same size and sliced it in the middle. I punched a strip of paper with my border punch and glued it to the pink piece and glued both down to the green piece. I layered the second green and pink panel(with border) and glued it down. Next I added the blue and green panel. I stamped my sentiment in olive green vivid ink. The stamp is from Impression Obsession. Next I used the two step bird punch to punch my bird and branches. I glued everything down and added some pearls across the bottom and one to the bird for his eye. I made this card for a few challenges:
