To cheer you

I made this card for two different challenges, the first one is cardpatterns sketch challenge 93, the second one is the color challenge over at Stamp TV. The colors we were challenged to use were innocent pink, chocolate brown, and ivory. I LOVE these colors together. I also LOVE this sketch. I will be using many times. I used pure luxury cardstock  and the DP is basic grey. My image is from a stamp set called Hope Grows. I colored the image with my copic markers and stamped the sentiment under it. I added stickles to the center of the flowers to make them sparkle. I used a MS punch. I added some bling, ribbon, a flower, and a brad from Bo Bunny. This card makes me smile. I hope you like it too. Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Christmas Tags

Today I want to show you some christmas tags that I made to put on my christmas packages. I haven't wrapped any presents yet but I need to do this and not wait till the last minute. lol!! I made these all with pure luxury card stock.  The To/From stamp is from a 2008 papertrey set called Holiday Tag collection. It was a gift from my sister-n-law Tammy. I stamped it in colorbox chalk ink (maroon). One of the DP is from Kaisercraft Belle collection, the other is a random piece that I pulled from my drawer. I'm not sure what brand it is. The ornament stamp is from Hero arts. The penguin and owl stamp dont have a name on the block, but I just recently purchased them from local stamp shop. Aren't they adorable? I added the bling and the ribbon to give it a little something extra. Hope ya like them. thanks for visiting my blog!!

My Log Cabin Card

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I know I did!! I made this card for Gina's spotlight sketch challenge and because I needed to practice on doing some male cards. I don't know about you, but these are the hardest ones for me to do. I had seen this log cabin card long ago and wanted to try it and finally got around to doing it. I used Pure Luxury CS in asparagus and chocolate and the DP is from the DCWV matstack (the christmas combo). The punch is a Martha Stewart that I picked up on clearance at michaels and the embossing folder is called distressed stripes. I sponged the sky and stamped the tree 4 times randomly. I cut the image and placed it to look like you are looking out the window of the cabin. I added stickles to the trees to look like snow. I added the birthday sentiment. The stamps are from Gina K Designs Winter Wonderland Stamp TV kit and  Snow Much Fun stamp set. I will post some christmas tags later this week.  Thanks for visiting my blog!!

I stamped my greeting with vivid ink (inky blue) and stamped the snowflakes randomly around the greeting. I added small navy bling to the center of the snowflakes. Happy Holidays

This is the first post I have done in quite a while. Its been a really busy fall, but now Christmas time is here and I am ready to do some christmas cardmaking. I made this card for two challenges, the first one is the color spotlight challenge over at Stamp TV. Gina challenged us to make a card using green apple, lipstick red, and white. These were great xmas colors. The other challenge i did was for Cardpatterns. I used their sketch for this card. It was an awesome sketch. I used Gina k Designs stamps and cardstock. I colored my wreath stamp with memento markers and then stamped the image. I used brilliance moonlight white ink for the sentiment and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I used nestabilities lacey circles. The ribbon and flowers are from my stash. I am having a minor surgery this week and am hoping to spend the 10 day recovery in my card room. So hopefully I will have some more blog posts this week. Hope you have a great weekend and Happy Thanksgiving!!

My first heartfelt creations card

Hello again, its been a while since ive had a chance to post a card but I have one for you today. This is the first card I have made with my new stamp sets that I got from Heartfelt creations. Tammy and I went to the Heirloom stamping festival is PA and had a wonderful time. There were so many great vendors there. Heartfelt creations was the one that caught all of our attention and we came away with some great new stamps and dies to match.
For this card I used SU cardstock and my sentiment is from the SU set Well Scripted. The flower stamps and dies are called Posy Patch from Heartfelt creations. The leaves are called perfect petals. They are also stamps and dies to match. I used my big shot to cut them out. I colored them with my copic markers. I used pop dots to give them some dimension and added bling and stickles to the center of the flowers. The punch is MS and I also used nestabilities labels 1. I made this card for a friend at work. It was her sisters birthday and her favorite color was purple. Well thats all for now, but I have a light weekend planned so hopefully plenty of time for stamping. Have a great weekend!!

Grandad's 85th Birthday

Yesterday was my grandad's 85th birthday. Wow can you believe it? That is a long time! We had a nice little family birthday party for him and I made him this card. He made me read the inside to him because he can't see very well any more. I had a great time getting together with the family.
I made this card with a stamp from Gina K Designs. It was from a set called Farm Life. I used a sketch from the Just us Girls Challenge blog. They are giving a great set of prizes this week.  I used navy cardstock and my designer paper is from pinkpaislee. The ribbon and brad are from gina k designs. I colored the image with my copic markers and sponged the grass with memento bamboo leaves ink and sponged the sky with memento summer sky ink. I cut the image and seperated it to fit the sketch. Thanks for visiting my blog today and have a great weekend!!
