Hello! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I have had a wonderful weekend. It rained all day yesterday so I was able to spend the whole day in my craft room. My husband even took me to cracker Barrel for dinner so I didn't have to cook. I love days like this. I worked on a card for
PTI's march bloghop. I loved the colors in this inspiration photo:
I started with a cardbase in harvest gold. This is a new color to me. I just added it to my collection. I love it! The yellow gingham DP is from amuse studios and the other DP is from October Afternoon. I used the celebrations die and cut it twice and layered it. I used the frame from Pretty Peonies and to my surprise it fit perfectly. I stamped it in Harvest Gold. The "easter wishes" sentiment is from the Sweet Spring stamp set. I stamped it in dark chocolate. I stamped and cut out the butterflies from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set. I added some stardust stickles to them for a little extra sparkle. The ribbon is aquamist. I added a button and some twine. Aqua mist and Harvest Gold are two colors that work very well together so I really enjoyed this challenge. Thanks for stopping by today!
very pretty!
